The 2017 Student Recognition Project is here! This district-wide competition recognizes and rewards high school students for projects completed outside the normal classroom curriculum. Local community members who are experts in the category fields do all project judging. All projects will receive a letter of recognition, honorable mentions will receive a certificate, and winners will receive a prize, and invitation to the awards breakfast, and a chance to connect with judges.
This year, a unique opportunity will be presented to the winners of the arts categories. They will have the chance to have their artwork displayed at the Village Theater in Danville between April 22-May 6, 2016. In addition to that opportunity, the project added three new categories this year: Graphic Design, Leadership, and Engineering.
Register to participate between January 9-February 17 at http://studentrecognition.org/student-entry-registration.
