Device Details
San Ramon Valley Unified School District is a 1:1 device school district. Each enrolled student is provided with a portable device to enhance the learning experience and to meet the goals outlined in the strategic directions and district technology plan.

The district will be providing all devices needed at school. Students may not bring their own device unless there is a prior agreement.

One iPad per student is provided in each transitional kindergarten to first grade classroom.

One Google Chromebook per student is provided in each second through fourth grade classroom. (For the year 21-22, 2nd grade will be a 2:1 ratio due to inventory restrictions)

Students in fifth through seventh grade are provided with a Google Chromebook for home and school use for those 3 years.

Students in eight through twelfth grade are provided with a Google Chromebook for home and school use for five years.

Receive the device indicated by their grade level band as listed above. A student's IEP team may determine that a different device is required to address the student's individual needs.
