Summer School Programs
Summer School 2022
GENERAL INFORMATIONSummer School 2022![]()
GENERAL INFORMATION
Summer School 2022
This summer, SRVUSD is offering in-person summer school for students going into grades 1-12 next year. The focus of Summer School is on ELA and math. Enrichment and advancement classes are not offered except for middle school MAP. Students were initially referred for participation by teachers and school site administrators. Families were given the opportunity to request summer school based on space availability.
For more information about our Summer School program, please contact the summer school principal.
No classes on June 20 and
July 4
CLASS TIMES/ATTENDANCE
Students will attend five days per week for approximately four hours/day, depending on the program (see schedule below).
We strongly discourage students from missing any days of summer school due to the compressed timeline. However, we know this is not always possible so we have instituted the following policy:
-
Students can miss up to 2 days
-
Students who miss more than the allotted number of days may be dropped from the course.
-
Any work assigned during a student's absence is the student's responsibility to make up.
-
First day of class: All students must attend first day of the class or they may be dropped from the course.
ESY/ELD INFORMATION

ALGEBRA SKILLS SUMMER SUPPORT
ALGEBRA SKILLS SUMMER SUPPORT ![]()
ALGEBRA SKILLS SUMMER SUPPORT
This opportunity is for students who have already taken Algebra in middle or high school and wish to practice Algebra skills over summer.
This self-paced, online Edgenuity Course is offered for skill remediation only and does not change a student's Algebra grade. The course begins with a skills assessment so students may just address the skills they need and do not need to repeat skills they have mastered. Students may skip content that is already mastered and can move around the course freely, skipping as needed, and focusing on only skills that need review.
This is not a complete Algebra course, and focuses on the essential skills needed to be successful in future math courses.
Rolling enrollment into the skills course is open from May 20-June 24. Please allow one work day for students to gain access.
