Summer School Information for 2019

Elementary School Enrichment 

Locations: Bollinger Canyon, Country Club, Greenbrook & Quail Run

  • June 10 - July 5 - (No School July 4)
  • Time:  8:15 am - 12:05 pm
  • Requested Donations :
    • Regular classes - $500
    • GATE classes - $550

Registration will open on March 25 and close on May 27.  Space is limited.

Middle School Enrichment and Remediation

Location: Pine Valley Middle

  • Session 1: June 10 - June 21
  • Session 2: June 24 - July 5 - (No School July 4)
  • Time: 8:30 am - 12:15 pm
    • Period A - 8:30 - 10:15 - (Some classes may have shorter hours)
    • Period B - 10:30 - 12:15 - (Some classes may have shorter hours)
  • Requested Donations for most courses will be $125 per class. 
    • Exceptions:
      • Culinary Arts and Engineering Lab = $150/class period 
      • Play Production = $500 (This class runs for both Periods for entire 4 weeks - $125 x 4 = $500)

Registration will open on March 25 and close on May 27. Space is limited.

REMEDIATION Summer School -  Registration for Summer School for students who failed a course (remediation) is handled through the Counseling Office at your student's middle school.  Please contact your student's counselor if you have questions.  After May 31, please contact the summer school principal(s) if you have questions. 

High School Summer School

Location: Dougherty Valley High School

  • Session 1: June 10 - June 27 (Ends on a Thursday)
    • No School on Friday, June 28  
  • Session 2: July 1 - July 19 (Ends on a Friday)
    • No School on Thursday, July 4
  • Time: 8:00 am - 12:40 pm - Both sessions

Other High School Summer Programs - includes information on Advancement and Graduation Requirement Fulfillment Programs.

Enrollment in these High School programs is limited to current SRVUSD students.

Remediation Summer School

Registration for Summer School for students who failed a course (remediation) is handled through the Counseling Office at your student's school.  The district offers two options for students: Dougherty Valley High School and Venture School. Students should contact their counselor if they  have questions.  After May 31, please contact the summer school principal(s) if you have questions.   

Special Education Extended School Year (ESY)

Locations Coming soon!
Students attending preschool class and CEIA:   8:15 am – 1:15 pm
Students attending preschool class only:  10:45 am – 1:15 pm
