SRVUSD Ranked Among California's Best

The San Ramon Valley Unified School District (SRVUSD) was just named by Niche.com as the #2 best school district in Contra Costa County. The SRVUSD, which serves approximately 32,000 students in grades TK-12, received an overall Niche grade of A+ based on its performance factors, which include not only test scores and academic performance, but also real-life accounts of what it is like to attend a school in the District. Niche also looks at things like campus life, extracurricular opportunities, sports options, gifted and special needs programs, and student/faculty/curriculum diversity. 

 

In addition to its county ranking, the SRVUSD was ranked by Niche as the #30 best school district (out of 487 ranked) in California and each of its traditional schools received a Niche grade of either A or A+. 

 

A strong education system provides the foundation for a strong community. The SRVUSD is proud to play a part in the overall success of the communities it serves. The City of San Ramon was recently recognized by Safewise as the #7 safest city in the nation to raise a child, noting in the criteria that San Ramon’s school district was one of the best in the State. The Town of Danville was also recently recognized by Safewise as the #1 safest community in the State. The SRVUSD is honored to be a partner in creating safe communities where families can thrive.
