SRVUSD Coronavirus Update 3/31/2020
Posted 3/31/20

As with much of the information surrounding our schools during this uncertain time, the information and guidance we receive from the State of California continues to change daily.

Late this afternoon, school districts in California were surprised by State Superintendent Tony Thurmond's letter to District and County Superintendents stating, “The need for safety through social distancing warrants that we continue to keep our school campuses closed to students during this pandemic.  Due to the current safety concerns and needs for ongoing social distancing it currently appears that our students will not be able to return to school campuses before the end of the school year.”

You may read the State Superintendent’s complete letter here.

At this time, SRVUSD is working with other districts throughout the region and public health agencies in order to review this information and confirm plans for May 4 through May 29.  We will communicate more information for you all as it becomes available.

Please have a great evening, and we hope that our community is staying safe.
