First Day of New Semester Information

We'd like to welcome back our students to the Spring 2021 semester! As you know, we are beginning the new school year on January 5, 2021 in a remote learning environment. Although you're likely familiar with our processes and protocols, we wanted to send you a reminder with all of the information in one place for easy reference.

 

Please also refer to our Reopening Together webpages as a source of information. 

 

Bell Schedules

All students will attend school remotely until further notice. Visit the Bell Schedules page for the most up-to-date information by grade level.

 

Teacher Assignments and Secondary Schedules for Semester 2

Elementary and secondary student schedules are now available for viewing in the Infinite Campus portal.

 

To view student schedules in Infinite Campus:

If there is an error in your schedule, please email your counselor. Schedule change requests will be considered for errors in scheduling only. We cannot consider requests for teacher changes. 

 

What do I do to attend class on January 5th?

There is a button on each school website homepage that connects to the Remote Learning Resources (Seesaw, Google Classroom, etc.) that you will need.

 

  • County Preschool:

Log into the class with the link sent by your teacher.

 

  • Transitional Kindergarten: 

Log in with the link provided by your teacher to log in to your class at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5th. If you are new to the class, your teacher will email you the information no later than 8 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5th.

 

  • Kindergarten: 

A communication/email with login information will be sent to parents by the teacher no later than 8 a.m. on Tuesday, January 5th. Parents can also log in to their student’s SeeSaw account and select their current teacher/class.

 

  • Grade 1 and Grade 2: 

On the first day of school, log in to your email and access the link to your class Google Meet/Zoom sent by your teacher. 

 

  • Grades 3 - 12 (Google Classroom)

On the first day of school:

    • Log in to Google Classroom and click on the tile for your class/period.

    • Click on the link to the virtual meeting posted by your teacher in the Google Classroom.

Elementary: Call the Help Desk at 925-824-1840 or submit a Parent Help Desk Ticket.

Secondary: Go to password.srvusd.net to make changes to your password. If you need further help, submit a Help Desk Ticket

Attendance

Attendance will be taken. If your child will be absent, please notify your school.

 

Child Nutrition: Grab and Go Meals :

  1. Grab and Go Meals are free to all SRVUSD students 18 and under.

  2. The meal distribution process will be the same as it was during the fall semester. 

  3. Child Nutrition Services will resume Grab and Go  curbside meal service at all  Sixteen Serving Locations  on Tuesday,  January 5, 2021 

  4. For the first week of the new semester only, meals will be distributed on Tuesday (1/5) and Friday (1/8).

  5. Beginning on Monday, January 11, 2021, we will continue to serve at our current sites on the Monday/Wednesday/ Friday schedule.

  6. Refer to the Child Nutrition webpages for the most current meal distribution information.

 

Declaration Changes

If you submitted a change to your declaration over the break, we are processing those requests now. You will be notified if/when we are able to accommodate your request.
