Grab n Go Meals FAQs

Any child 18 years old and under is eligible to participate.  

Meals include a sack breakfast and lunch.  Meals include a combination of meat/meat alternates, whole grains, fruits, vegetables.

Milk is offered at all three summer meal locations on Mondays only.   

Yes.  All food is delivered to our warehouse and central kitchen where it is redistributed to the sites based on their needs.

In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19  All district employees practice social distancing at all sites while working.

Meals are served on Mondays and Wednesdays from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM.

Families may drive up or walk up to the location on campus where meals are being distributed.  Masks should be worn at pick up.

Meals will be served while supplies last.

Yes, just tell us how many children you are picking up meals for and we will provide those meals.

No, we cannot serve extra meals until we have provided weekday meals for families first. You may return to pick up location at 1:00pm to see if there are extra meals available.

Provided we have funding, we will continue to serve meals through the summer months.

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) and the state of California funds the meals served.

USDA is partnering with local farmers and ranchers to provide free produce and meat to families across the USA.
