Free Farmers to Families Food Boxes

USDA FOOD BOXES WILL BE AVAILABLE ON WEDNESDAYs, October 21st and 28th.  boxes may CONTAIN some or all of the following: PRODUCE, MILK, CHEESE AND some type of MEAT.

USDA is sponsoring the Farmers to Families Food Box Program that helps farmers distribute their surplus food products to families in need nationwide at no charge.  These boxes are available along with our Breakfast and Lunch Meals at FREE Grab And Go Serving Locations (PDF) every Wednesday from 10am - 1:00pm.  Please Note: Food boxes are not guaranteed each week due to the ever changing nature of USDA's policies.  In addition, the Child Nutrition Department does not determine the contents of the food boxes. Please check the CN Website weekly for updates.

USDA determines the availability of the food boxes each week so cannot guarantee them.  This webpage will be updated weekly as we learn of the food boxes' availability.

The number of food boxes we receive and it’s contents depends on USDA and our supplier and is not something our department controls.

Food boxes are distributed on Wednesdays from 10am-1pm and are available on a first come, first served basis.

Food boxes are available along with our Breakfast and Lunch Meals at FREE Grab And Go Serving Locations (PDF)

Each site is set up for families to drive through and pick up their meals and/or boxes.   We ask that you stay in your car (for everyone's safety) and wait in line until your turn.  You will need to provide us with the number of children you need meals and whether or not you want a food box.

Food boxes are available to anyone but we hope our families most in need can take advantage of these boxes.  While we do not discourage anyone from taking a food box, please take the food boxes only if you need them.

We are unable to take reservations so please arrive early on Wednesday if you would like a food box.

There is no charge for the USDA food boxes.
