SRVUSD announced the formation of a new Budget Advisory Committee (BAC) in August, 2024, dedicated to addressing fiscal challenges the District is facing in the coming year. The BAC will play a crucial role in advising the District on strategies to achieve a balanced budget and ensure the long-term financial stability of our schools. The primary goal of the BAC is to provide informed recommendations to the Board of Education on strategies to manage and mitigate SRVUSD's budget shortfall.

"Like most school districts in California, a volatile state economy has presented us with significant financial challenges,” said Superintendent CJ Cammack. “We believe that engaging a broad spectrum of partners is essential to developing effective solutions for these challenges. The insights and expertise of our staff, students, parents/caregivers and community members will be invaluable as we work together to ensure the continued fiscal health and academic excellence of our District."
