We're committed to supporting the social and emotional well-being of every student. Our district's wellness initiatives provide a comprehensive network of support, ensuring students have the resources they need to thrive.

Each of our comprehensive high schools features a dedicated Wellness Center, staffed by a qualified social worker. These centers serve as a hub for students to access immediate support, resources, and a safe space to address their social and emotional needs.

Beyond our high school Wellness Centers, we offer comprehensive intervention and support services across all grade levels. Our dedicated counselors and social emotional support teams are present at the elementary, middle, and high school levels, providing tailored assistance, guidance, and resources to students as they navigate their academic and personal journeys.

CASEL

  • SEL is the process through which all young people and adults acquire and apply the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to develop healthy identities, manage emotions and achieve personal and collective goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain supportive relationships, and make responsible and caring decisions.
  • SEL advances educational equity and excellence through authentic school-family-community partnerships to establish learning environments and experiences that feature trusting and collaborative relationships, rigorous and meaningful curriculum and instruction, and ongoing evaluation. SEL can help address various forms of inequity and empower young people and adults to co-create thriving schools and contribute to safe, healthy, and just communities.
