Student Attendance Review Board (SARB)
The district’s SARB (Student Attendance Review Board) consist of district and community members who meet monthly to consider student attendance cases in and make appropriate recommendations. This Board utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach to provide support and intervention to meet the special needs of students with school attendance issues. The SARB Committee looks for creative ways to encourage students to return to, and succeed in, school. SARB cases are brought forward to be addressed by the Board based on attendance information provided by both the site and district.
