VISTA GRANDE ELEMENTARY MODERNIZATION
July 2018
This summer Vista Grande has under gone some major renovations. In classroom buildings 100 and 200 new roofs and mechanical screens were installed; HVAC equipment was replaced; ducts were cleaned and energy management controls were upgraded. In building 300 an existing storage room was converted into a new restroom. The campus also received significant site work. Existing concrete and asphalt had numerous tripping hazards and have been removed and replaced. ADA parking and drop off improvements were also addressed in this phase. Exterior lighting has been upgraded along with the fire alarm. New classroom doors, windows, carpeting, data and paint will be addressed next summer.
