Health for Athletes
HEALTH FOR ATHLETES
The athletic trainers, certified by the National Athletic Trainers' Association (Profile of Athletic Trainers). working with SRVUSD programs are:
- MVHS
- DVHS
- SRVHS
- CHS
The District believes that the medical care of athletes is the responsibility of the family. Injured athletes may be required to have clearance from a medical provider before returning to play. Some families may want to take advantage of pre-concussion testing that may be helpful in follow-up if a concussion is sustained. Some families may want to participate in the Play Safe Cardiac Screening that is offered through our athletic trainers and their relationship with UCSF.
