University of California (UC) Requirements
 
 

 
Students need to complete a minimum of 15 college-preparatory courses (A-G courses) with a letter grade of C or better. For courses completed during Winter 2020 through summer 2021, UC will also accept a grade of CR (credit) and P (pass). You must complete at least 11 of these courses prior to the beginning of your last year of high school.
 
Standardized test scores are not required as part of the admissions process for either the UC or CSU system.

The CSU requires a minimum 15-unit pattern of courses for admission as a first-time freshman. Each unit is equal to a year of study in a subject area. A grade of C or better is required for each course you use to meet any subject requirement.
 
Standardized test scores are not required as part of the admissions process for either the UC or CSU system.
