Technology Advisory Committee

The Technology Advisory Committee is dedicated to fostering a safe, innovative, and forward-thinking technological environment within our schools. Comprised of district staff, community members, and industry experts, the committee meets regularly to discuss and address critical topics such as cybersecurity, data governance, and the strategic integration of AI in education. Together, we work to ensure that SRVUSD remains at the forefront of technological advancements, supporting our students and staff with secure, effective, and cutting-edge digital resources.
The SRVUSD Technology Advisory Committee is looking for new members for the 2025-2026 school year.
This committee is a group of parents, students, staff, and community members who advise the district's Technology Department. We work together to ensure that the use of technology in our schools aligns with the district's educational goals, and we will also be writing a tech plan. We'll explore topics like cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, data governance, and the integration of new technologies in the classroom.
We're looking for individuals with a passion for education and technology, and who are eager to contribute to a collaborative, forward-thinking group. If you're interested in helping shape the future of technology in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District, please apply.

Final selection of Committee members will be based on criteria that consider several variables to achieve broad representation. The goal is to have a cross-section of individuals sit on this committee and reflect the diversity of the SRVUSD community. Please note that if you are not selected, there will be a number of opportunities for you to participate and provide input in other ways.
