Summer School 2024

GENERAL INFORMATION
Summer School 2024

sunshine

This summer, SRVUSD is offering in-person summer school for students going into grades Kindergarten through 12th grade next year.

The focus of summer school is to intervene and remediate grade level curriculum and standards, as well as offer credit recovery for current high school students.  Enrichment and advancement classes are not offered except for the Math Advancement Program (MAP) for current middle school students.

Students will be referred for participation by teachers, counselors and/or school site administrators only and will not include open enrollment.

For more information about our Summer School program, please contact the summer school principal:

CLASS TIMES/ATTENDANCE

Students will attend five days per week for approximately four hours/day, depending on the program (see schedule below).

We strongly discourage students from missing any days of summer school due to the compressed timeline.  However, we know this is not always possible so we have instituted the following policy:

  • Students can miss up to 2 days
  • Students who miss more than the allotted number of days may be dropped from the course.
  • Any work assigned during a student's absence is the student's responsibility to make up.
  • First day of class: All students must attend first day of the class or they may be dropped from the course.
